Serenata de Armor, which means “Serenade of Love” in Portugese, is regarded by many to be the best Brazilian chocolate of all time. These chocolates have a cream and cashew-nut center, surrounded by crunchy wafers and an outer layer of milk chocolate. Launched by Garoto in 1949, it was initially called “Serenade Moonlight”, but Garoto was forced to change the name because “Moonlight” already appeared in the name of another chocolate. Garoto then changed the name to what it is known as today, "Senerade of Love."
