Waffeletten are crunchy wafer rolls partially dipped in milk or dark chocolate. They’re marketed and produced by Balhsen, one of Europe’s leading biscuit manufacturers. Crispy to the bite and light in taste, these wafers are said to be great to go with coffee, milk or tea. Fun fact, the company behind this product (Bahlsen) was the first European manufacturer to use a conveyer belt. The Bahlsen factored used the conveyer belt six months before Ford used it to create the Model T.
