Anzac Biscuits, named after the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC), have a rich history with the Australian and New Zealand army going back to World War 1. The story goes that Anzacs were sent by wives to soldiers during the war because the ingredients do not spoil easily and kept well during transportation.
